Abstract

This study discusses the procedures for ferry transportation services at the shipping company PT. Sadena Mitra Bahari Banyuwangi branch. In this study, there was a problem that the ship did not always run according to a predetermined operating schedule. This type of research is qualitative research. This is because the research was conducted to examine the condition of the natural object, where the researcher is the key instrument. This research uses observation and interview techniques. The results obtained in this study include crossing transportation services at PT. Sadena Mitra Bahari Banyuwangi branch includes several stages, namely before the ship is operated by PT. Sadena Mitra Bahari Banyuwangi branch ensures the condition of the ship is ready. Five minutes before the ship's loading hour begins, field employees must be on standby at the LCM dock.
