Abstract

PT. Bahtera Adhiguna (Persero) is one of the SOEs in the transportation sector which is engaged in the business of sea transportation services for the archipelago and near oceans. In this study, the aim of this study was to determine the procedures for the maintenance of safe manning extension services on the Pelita 6 ship at PT. Adhiguna Ark of Paiton Branch. Management of ship documents that exceed the issuance limit. When processing ship documents, there was a problem in managing the extension of the safe manning certificate. The certificate can be extended at the Probolinggo Harbor Authority and Port Authority Office. This type of research is qualitative, using primary data in the form of interviews and observations and secondary data in the form of documents from several related parties. The results of this study indicate that the agent must take care of all the safe manning extension processes according to the management flow.
